Does anyone know what your child has to do for this part of the SATS test?
I'm assuming writing would involve comprehension, spellings and punctuation,
but how is the Reading tested?

Just wondering after having looked at the breakdown given re:English on the following site............
http://www.qca.org.uk/2636.html

Thanks

Dear Bewildered

Reading is measured via the comprehension component, if the child cannot read or has poor reading skills...... they cannot answer the questions.

Thanks Patricia.

It's obviously something we can't as parents, measure at home then.

Cheers
