We finally heard this morning, we've won our appeal! We really can't believe it but are delighted. Thank you to everyone for all the useful information we've found on this site and for people still trying, don't give up! We won a review appeal, lost an oversubscription appeal, had an ombudsmen decision that there was a breach of the appeal code and have finally won a fresh appeal. Keep going and best of luck!

Dear traffmum

It's a remarkable achievement. I know how hard it was to win this appeal.

You've had an incredible journey, and have triumphed against all the odds.

I'm really delighted for you. Many congratulations! :D

Very well done indeed Traffmum! :D

I haven't been able to follow all the details, but I know that Trafford is a very tough call for Appeals.

Would you please consider glancing at the Forum from time to time to support other Trafford parents going through the 11+? Trafford is very under-represented on the Forum, and we could really do with a local expert.

Hi Sally Ann,
Will definitely keep reviewing this site and will offer any info I may have found out with regard to appeals and or Trafford. It's been an invaluable source of info for me and great support from people who do understand what it's like to go through! I now have a year off, before our other son will have to face this process and a few years later, my daughter who's only 6. Don't relish going through this again, but we are certainly better informed now and have hopefully learnt some valuable lessons. Good luck to everyone else who are still waiting results, hope you get some positive news!!
