Bucks appeal with a 119
Can anyone give advice for our appeal?
My daughter got 118 and 119 and wants us to appeal. We have no special circumstances, we can only hope to show that she is best suited to the Henry Floyd.
She was predicted a 1:1, has a reading age of 14yr 5mnths, her SS is 126 (96th centile).
She has predicted 5's and has already achieved 5b, 5c & 5b.
Her verbal reasoning SS is 131
Her SWST(?) is 131
Her headteacher is fully backing our appeal, I am going to get books from school to support the numbers. Is there anything else I should look for/provide?
Thanks

Welcome!
It sounds as if you have a good academic case.
With such respectable scores I wouldn't worry too much about extenuating circumstances. I think it's best to be honest and say "In the light of all the alternative academic evidence she appears to have underperformed in the two tests, but it's not clear why."
You should not refer to any particular grammar school, as the appeal panel can only consider the general issue of non-qualification at this stage.
