Hi,

Does anyone know if during the case for the parent/carer, it is possible to ask the panel if they are need any clarification of medical/occupational therapy etc type jargon. We have submitted a few reports from various professions and feel that we need to make sure the panel have fully understood the points. We don't want to sound as if we are lecturing them, but need to feel that we have got our points across.

Any advice from those of you out there with experience would be very much appreciated.

Thank you

Clare

Dear Clare

I see no reason at all why, when referring to the medical evidence, you shouldn't ask the chair if any clarification is needed. Some panels will be quite knowledgeable about such matters, some will not.
