I`m not a big poster on this forum, but have been an avid reader, and have gleaned so much useful information from you all I`m sure that helped with our appeal.

I have to share.....our appeal was granted and we got a place at Simon Langton Girls school...I am beyond thrilled and so is DD

I really feel for everyone as the whole process has been so unbelievably stressful, and to not get the desired result ( that isn`t meant to be patronising honestly :oops: ).

Thats fantastic news. The last few weeks has all been sad news on the forum so its really great to hear about your success. Hopefully it may give those going through the process some hope.

Thank you...I wanted to say that I was trying to give some positive feedback for those still waiting...but didn`t want to sound like I was being smug.....which I`m not.

Its been an awful time, but all the effort has been worth it, and for those of you still trying PLEASE DON`T GIVE UP.....

I have a friend in Lincs who got here DD in to Grantham on appeal last week too.....

Absolutely fantastic news CONGRATULATIONS I am so pleased for you and your DD. It gives those of use still plodding on and still waiting for the hearing :shock: some hope! Please, please put your experience on the sticky it will so help all of us!

Were you appealing over sub or non-qualification or both?

Well done truly singing and dancing for you both now :D :lol: :P
