Hello Everyone,
There's been a lot of sad postings in the last couple of days. I'm so sorry to everyone who hasn't succeeded. We received my daughters results today and are very happy to say we made it through. The only good thing in this appeal process has been the support from this website.

Thanks so much to Etienne and Sally-Anne, but also to everyone who posted their worries and questions that were used as advice for us all.

If anyone is interested in my daughters academic results my first email was the beginning of December.

Just to let you all know that we have been sucessful in our appeal.

I would like to reiterate that without the support of everyone on this forum I don't think I would have got through the whole process. A special thank you to Etienne, Sally Anne and Ambridge.

My thoughts are with everyone that have not had the results they hoped for. Good luck to everyone who has yet to attend the appeal.

It is so lovely to hear of successful appeals. (I must now turn my attention to all the posts I have missed for those who didn't succeed.)

If you both feel that you have advice to give to other people going through the process, stick around for a few weeks and come back next year to help the "new crop".
