Re: APPEAL PACK WORRY :-(
I have moved several posts by Woolford and me into Woolford's thread Appeal Information - Graph - Scores of 141 so that this thread is kept for the original poster and Woolford's thread contains all the reslevant information for their appeal.

No worries woolford I was enjoying seeing what everyone else had to say ! I think my info on recommendations show that even pupils with 1:2 not getting in then a 3:2 getting in is bizarre . Anyhow , back to my first point soooo concerned about this 3 it's untrue . Head has written that work
has really improved this year . Should I mention it in speech or ignore it ?

There's nothing remarkable about a single '3' qualifying because, ignoring the attitude grades, the top end of the '3's are, almost by definition, borderline.
For the same reason, one would never expect the success rate of the '2' recommendations to be as high as that for the '1's, because the lower end of the '2's will be borderline. See the Q&As, E9d (v).
If the headteacher confirms that school work has improved this year, it's well worth highlighting.

dont know if i wrote this on my other thread but, the panel did ask why the tick chart was missing, my answer was it wasnt very personal to DS so thought there was no need to put it in .
