Need some advice re appeal. My DC got 120 and we are going to appeal. She has recently been identified as having ?processing problem - if this is the case then it could have affected her score (she didn't finish the first paper and rushed through the 2nd). Is it worth getting an Ed Psych report and, if it shows a specific problem, using it at the appeal? We have received differing advice about whether the appeal panel would look favourably on this or whether they would consider it an 'excuse'. Any helpful advice would be appreciated.

It depends what the report finds. If you were to have an EP report that strengthens your case, I don't think a panel would regard it as 'making excuses.'

Do you have time to get this done? (Is this a Bucks appeal?) You would need to submit such a report 7-10 days before the hearing as the panel would need time to consider it properly.
