:D

We have heard that our appeal for our preferred Grammar School was successful - great rejoicing!!

Do I need to write to the High School where we'd accepted the offered place to let them know?

I don't know if you have to, but it would be really helpful for all of us on the waiting list.
Yipee, up one place :D

Congratulations :D
Yes one place closer, maybe one less appeal for us to be up against! Sorry we all sound like piranahs
We all really need to hear news like this. What school did you get??
Anyone else with a place at SHS appealing elsewhere? Just feels like no movement on the cards!!

Thanks All :)

We're in Medway and the school we've won our appeal for is Rainham Mark. The High school in question is the Bishop of Rochester Academy, which I don't believe is oversubscribed anyway

Fast appeal process?? Do you really think so?? The schools places were allocated on March 1st and we had to wait until last week for the appeal hearing - it took a week to get the result... :? Maybe that's quick but it certainly didn't feel like it to us!!

I'll need to let Chatham Grammar for Boys know as well - one less appeal to be heard there now if that helps anyone :D

This might just be the start of more movement, now the appeal decisions are starting to come through.
