Our son's scores were 124 114 108, we had two teachers give us different advise - one said he could take the test later when he was well, the other said he had to take it on the day! I know now that I should have waited until he was well but he insisted that he would be ok. The school we have been given is terrible and it wasn't even one of our 3 choices. If he gets high sats scores in May would that help?

Will the school confirm in writing that you were given contradictory advice? That, together with the GP's letter, would certainly help.

Ideally you need as many of the academic indicators I've referred you to as possible.

SATs in May will be too late. Current predictions will do, especially if they're high level 5s.
