how long does appeal last

can anyone tell me how long the appeal hearing would be .that is to say will the questioning last for 10 mins or up to 1/2 hour i am really nervous, i know it will vary, but a rough idea would help

It could indeed vary. A really difficult case might take an hour or two!
The following gives a very rough idea:
Chairman's introduction - less than 5 mins.
LA case, and questions to LA - 5 mins. (for non-qualification - could be much longer if it's about oversubscription)
Parental case - 5-10 mins.
Questions to parents - 5-10 mins.
Summing up, and chairman's concluding remarks - 5 mins.
