Dear Etienne,

My sister passed the exam however i mistakenly put King Edwards VI Camp Hill girls as 3rd choice
best local comprehensive (Rawlett) as 2nd
Sutton girls grammer 1st.
She attained only 315 test score for sutton girls grammer, 9 under the threshold of 325

Her second examination was for Camp Hill, we recieved the letter today explaining that she passed but since the local comprehensive was of a higher preference she has an offer there.

We hoped for Sutton to offer her a place and Birmingham was the only other closest grammer school. As my parents live in Tamworth, it would have proved very difficult with school that far away putting Rawlett (the better local comprehensive ) as 2nd choice.

Are there any grounds of appeal?
How best would it be to approach this, if anyone has any experience, it would be great to hear?

Kind regards
Sayed
