11 Plus Exams Forum

Please confirm that I am right not to appeal.
DS scored 115/115 in Bucks 11+.
Recent SATs 3s and 4s.
VRTS score 117.
No extenuating circumstances.
Emailed school for headteachers assessment, but no response so far.
Pretty resigned to not appealing but worried I might be letting DS down.
Please put my mind at rest!!!

just read you post. Why could you not see the Head teacher for advice, this could made the decision more easy.
I was in the same boat as my son scored 108/113 so i thiught that with those score they would not back me up but it was them who suggested i should give it a try as i had nothing to loose as my ds is academic and has levels 5c maths, 4b/4a English.
If you feel your ds has not done well because of x cicumstances , and he is a bright boy then what have you got to loose except from some hairs.
