Re: Appeal - a little help please
Etienne, d's yr5 report says he is chatty aaand can be silly to impress his friends. He's never had anything like that before on his report. so will that kinda comment go against him in anyway Oh he's still 10, 3rd youngest in the year, so bit immature unlike his brothers at the same age. as they say - not all fingers on one hand are the same.
Re: Appeal - a little help please
Personally I don't see a problem. I would have thought it could even add to his academic potential - he'll be even better when he matures!

Re: Appeal - a little help please
Thank you. it's always good to hear another person's views. Would it be also advisable to get an Ed Pysho done?

Re: Appeal - a little help please
Spoke to DS's Head Teacher this morning & she said she will be including these points in her letter to help with appeal.
Ds's predicated KS2 exam results
List of past / present extra Curricular activities.
There was a loss of focus & concentration during the first term (Sept-Dec2011, when Dad was in hosp!)
DS has however picked up this year & doing very well!!
Also requested proof of school work to show lack of focus during said period. Have DS's school report ready. Is there anything I've missed out, which could be a plus?
As always, open for advice. Thanks

Hi there.
The offered school's 2009 Ofsted report was marginally below average in nearly all aspects. However!!! Latest Ofsted March 2011, shows school has improved in certain areas. Can I use this info for case or will it have the opposite effect?
Every time I find useful backup for my case, I seem to take heaps of steps backwards

Re: Appeal - a little help please
It doesn't look like a strong argument!
Tactically it also tends to be unwise to focus in this way on the school offered.
