Separate threads have been merged again.
3(a). Please stick to using this one thread for everything to do with your case: it is your personal “Q&A section” from now on. Please do not start a new thread each time you post about your own case, even if you are moving away from your original question - it helps us to have all the information in one place. We can change the original topic title for you if it no longer seems appropriate.

A number of members have taken the trouble to answer your earlier questions. The occasional 'thank you' might be appreciated - and encourage further help! :)

thank you to every one on this site for all their support.

can a school claim in their appeal statement that the size of their classrooms are below dfa guidlines when in fact they are above them ?

does the panel have a legal obligation to challenge this claim?

Are they referring to the net capacity assessment or to building bulletin 98?

I wouldn't say so. The panel has a clear duty to decide whether the school has a case for prejudice, but it is up to individual panel members and parents to question whatever points in the school case they wish.

Hi Brightstuff,

The results are out. I won the appeal in CRGS. Just got the letter this morning, it was dated 15/06/2012. Wish you all the best.
