i am appealing for a grammar school. in my appeal am i trying to justify the shorfall in marks on the 11 plus test , or that beyond a doubt the child is suitable for grammar school, and would be able to keep up.
i am slightly confused

Dear worry worry

Provided that the focus is on evidence of high ability, I don't think it matters too much. The problem with "suitability for grammar school" as a criterion is that sometimes it encourages appellants to stray on to non-academic matters.
