regarding appealing the discrepancy between boys and girls places this year in south warwickshire?

It would be interesting to hear your views (2013 entry, 2012 results thread).

I don't understand why South Warwickshire take less boys. It's so unfair. Surely it's discrimination, too? Here in the East (which is a much smaller, less populated area), we have the same number of places for boys and girls. (The girls and boys grammar school take exactly the same number).

Can't you take the matter up with your MP or someone? Do Warwickshire Admissions have any comment? Extending KES in 2014 is no help for 2013. It's discrimination. Were there lots more boys who took the 11+ in South Warwickshire this year? High birth rate for boys?

I feel for everyone with a ds who has missed out because there are less places for boys.
