Just found this site - wish I had found it before my daughter took the test ! :D

She got 115, which was far less than any of us were expecting.

She just achieved 5a in practice literacy and reading SATs earlier this month, 4a in maths. Her school rated her 1:1 (one of very few recommendations in the school).

Her headteacher has advised that any chance of appeal is very slim given the low mark, but might be worth a chance.

We have some extenuating circumstances given that my daughters grandfather is terminally ill and was admitted to hospital the week of the tests.

Any advice regarding what to write in the literature would be gratefully received. I have no clue!
Many thanks
