Extenuating Circumstance
I apologise if this has been posted elsewhere, or is in the Appeals section of this site. The question I have is to do with extenuating circumstances and where do I put it.
Without going into too much detail, I was diagnosed with a condition in July, which necessitated me having an op in the summer, about a month before the exam. I feel this could have influenced my son's results. I don't have any academic evidence showing my son was affected, as it all happened at the end of term, and during the summer holidays. I can include copies of letters giving dates of diagnosis and the op etc.
Should this be included in the 11+ non-qualification section, or as a separate section, and if so, before or after the Academic Ability section. Hope this makes sense.
Thanks.
