We heard yesterday - our appeal for KEGS Chelmsford has been upheld! Hasn't sunk in properly, possibly due to the most under-whelming letter imaginable, I had to read it several times to check we had, in fact, been successful. :D Won't really believe it until I hear something from the school, but there is one very, very happy boy at home this weekend. So pleased - Chelmsford and Colch Grammars notorious for no successful appeals, so we are over the moon. Thank you for all your help.

Congratulations!

I have been following your threads and it seems appeal success in Essex is a rare thing.

Very pleased for your DS and well done to you for seeing it through.

Congratulations Yazzi. I have no idea what happens now - the letter just finished by saying a copy has been sent to the Head at the school. Presumably we do nothing and wait to hear from them. All a bit of an anti climax - I was expecting something a bit more all singing and dancing! Still re-reading it to check I haven't got it wrong.

Thanks. Our letter says we've got to contact the school to arrange all admission procedure to be completed and also contact the school we already have so that they can remove DDs name. Going to call first thing :D . On another note, any ideas what we can buy the headteacher as way if saying thanks for his support??? Wanting it to be something he can cherish. Thanks guys x
