Bucks raw score and remarking - Bucks 11+

Hi,

Our child got STTS score of 120.98 (before rounding down) in the 11+ exams. We have gone for review with Bucks Council as he has good academic credentials and some extenuating circumstances as well. He also has a very good reference from his head teacher in his school.

I am not sure about seeking raw score and re-marking from Bucks Council (still available) as I understand that results of all such requests will be sent to the review panel. I am concerned that if the re-marking brings down my son's STTS score, we would have dented his chances with the review panel.

Is it possible that the manual re-mark could bring the STTS score down? Any inputs would be much appreciated

Thanks in advance

I have the same reservations about a remark - my child achieved a very similar score to yours. I wonder if those who have had a remark could report whether the marks changed at all in the process?
