Can someone advise what Order of suitability mean my son is 26 ?

Hi Sue,

It's were the head teacher ranks your child's suitability for grammar school within there year group.

How many are in your son's year group?

The key thing is how many people below him reached qualifying? How accurate was the list?

If you son is in the middle of a lot of children who quaified it's easier to explain that the result is a 'blip'.

I asked the head teacher. I understand you get a copy in the appeal pack, without any of the childrens names, is this right?

No we got our's from the HT report and I then called the school to check how many took the exam. Sue

We found out our son's position in the order of ranking from chat with the HT (& then confirmed on her report) and understand from someone who has done this all before that we then find out what happened either side of that when paperwork is sent back from County before the appeal date...
