I have just been reading the Q & A's about appeals again! I wondered why the panel may ask 'Did your child finish the paper?' what would they be hoping to find out from this question? & and is there a wrong answer?

They also asked me questions ........ like ‘did your child finish the paper?’.
It's the sort of question that could perhaps be asked if parents claim their child ought to have been allowed extra time, or was distracted by another pupil, or wasn't feeling well enough to do the test. The "wrong answer" would be to assert something that is untrue - because it's just possible the LA representative might be able to check!

Alternatively, it's possible the panel member couldn't think of anything else to ask ............
