Prep School Head is anti grammar
We ignored our headteacher's advice as they don't support GS & want to restrict other children attempting and potentially leaving the school/private system. My child has since taken the test and narrowly missed passing (despite headteacher saying we had no chance). We want to appeal but will have to do so without the head's support. Any advice on how to tackle this??

Re: Prep School Head is anti grammar
you will need to come up with academic evidence - school reports?
Re: Prep School Head is anti grammar
he has good reports. very positive and encouraging. Anything else. Can the fact that the head actively discourages all kids entering help in our appeal?
Re: Prep School Head is anti grammar
It might help if you say what school/region you are interested in.
The main evidence for any appeal is academic evidence if appealing for non qualification.
The best place to start is the FAQ on appeals here

An appeal might be a better option than a review if the headteacher won't co-operate.
