Bucks Selection Review

Post by mum1289 »

Hi My DD has scored 113 bit unfortunate. I have has the head teacher review sheet, she has highly recommended him with 1:1.
also his predicted score for year 6 is Above expected in Reading and Maths.... 'expected 'in writing. And the head has a made comment that she highly recommends y DD he is self motivated and will thrive in the grammar school environment.

Now Is that enough to back my case?

I have a medical reason as my dd might have reacted to particular medicine which made him drowsy on the day. I can provide GP Evidence to prove the same. Is it worth mentioning this as I have heard that any medical grounds wont be considered for selection review as they clearly state if the child is not well not write the exam. In my case my son thought he is ok and fit enough but towards the end he was very drowsy as a reaction to certain medicine.

Please suggest if I should mention the medical reason or just keep the application simple on his academic ability?

Welcome - did you read all the information in the stickies?

Is this a Bucks Primary? How did the other 1;1s do?

What levels are recorded for Y2, Y3, Y4 and Y5?
