My daughter did really well in her 11+ nvr 139, vr 135 and m 122 and we were really proud of her but she was not given a place at tonbridge grammar as her score was not high enough. We are out of county too which does not help. Everybody says we should appeal but I don't know what to do. My daughter desperately wanted to go to This grammar school and is devastated after all the hard work she put in, that she did'nt get in.

Dear L

Have you read the Q&As? (Follow link at top of page.) Sections B and E are most relevant.

My son got almost exact same scores and his head teacher offered to appeal to Judd for us showing his ability through school work and attitude, maybe your primary school would do the same, you have nothing to lose if you are happy with your offer? .
