reading grammar appeals
Hello all,
Have followed many of the threads here with great interest. Does anyone have any experience of appealing to the reading grammars that they would be willing to share - there seems to be a bit of a 'gap' here.

Hi Ann,
Unfortunately you are correct, there is a big gap here. We have not had anyone post about there experience in this, if they have had to go through the process.
We know that they take the top 100, then place the subsequent 20 on waiting list. Lists have moved to 8th, for this intake, that I am aware of. Other than this, I'm afraid I do not know.
Will you you appealing?

Hello Bewildered,
We are in a position to do so if we wish. Without this site, we probably wouldn't have even got that far!
The potential appeal relates to our DS and his learning disabilities (see previous postings) but some of the details are personal and might enable him to be identified.
We recognise that we are coming from a long way behind and so any support/advice would be welcome!
