Hi All

I have just come across this site and wished I had found it earlier.

I had given up all hope but after reading all the posts have realized that all is not lost YET.

My daughter has had a very distressing time and it has left her quite upset. She had her heart set on going to HG

She got 108 and 111 in the Bucks test and 104 in the Slough consortium. She is predicted 3 5s and had done very well in her practice papers and is doing very well at school but unfortunutely her nerves got the better of her.

Her teacher had said she is a grammer school candidate. I have not spoken to anyone yet is there any chance of an appeal for either.

Thank
Neeti

Dear Neeti

It's possible to appeal with any score, and a panel will consider your case on its merits.

I don't know of any figures for Slough, but in Bucks 14.8% of appeals with a score of 111 succeeded last year.

If you haven't already done so, read the Q&As (link at top of page), and Sally-Anne's recent post:

Good luck
