We had our appeal hearing today with Bucks, the panel were very nice and the setting was quite informal just presented our case and questions were mainly around the case that was presented. Questions asked were
outside interests, books read, academic abilities, and other questions regarding the case this may vary from case to case, but don't worry youself into the ground there is nothing to worry about.

Hi Trio,

Glad to hear you had a good experience today.

The build up to an appeal is always, awfully draining and we all assume the worst.
When you’re so passionate about your belief in your child’s true and consistent capabilities you will fight to the ends of the earth for them. However, this takes its toll on the best of us.
Fortunately, as you now know, most appeal panels know this and will go out of their way to make us feel at ease.

Whatever the outcome of your appeal, know that you have done all you possibly could do as a parent..

Good luck to you..

AM

Dear Trio

I have recently joined and it is so good to hear some positive news. I am really pleased that your appeal for your daughter was successful. We are appealing for Slough Grammar and it is good to know that the questions asked were regarding outside interests / achievements as well as school / academic achievements. I live in hope.....
