Any advice regarding Essex Appeals - WHSB - Please help!

Hi, my son 11+ results are much lower than we expected.
His Headteacher was confident he would win a grammar school place. I have found out he is very high up on the waiting list for Westcliff High School for Boys. I am looking at submitting an appeal and would appreciate advice and feedback from anyone who has been in the same situation. Thankyou.
