How do I appeal?

I am confused - if my daughter has not been offered a place at a partially selective school under an entrance exam criteria, but I applied under three other criteria what do I do? Do I appeal for the place regardless of the criteria?
Do I appeal under each criteria separately? The other criteria include distance to school and specialism.

Dear Lassie

I'm not at all sure what they're expecting, but the whole point of an appeal is that you are free to put forward whatever reasons you wish, irrespective of the oversubscription criteria.

If in doubt, mention it, and let the panel decide what to give weight to!

Yes, it might. Whatever argument you're putting forward, you should try to provide supporting evidence.
