Headteachers Support

Post by Frederick »

We are about to Appeal in Wirral . We have been specifically told by our Headteacher that she has not sent ,prior to the 11 plus any recommendations or predictions (which seems contrary to advice on your site) and further that regarding a "letter of Support" the only information she will provide is the data and scores (relevant only to our child). Again when asked if she could make any personal recommendations or those of his teacher, she specifically said that she was not allowed to do this. Are you able to confirm what is expected by the Panel, as we do not want a situation where they feel our evidence is lacking.

Dear Frederick

Headteacher support is discussed in another thread:
http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/forum/ ... 259#104259

Have you read the Announcement "Please read before you post" or the Q&As?
It is explained in the Q&As that the system of prior recommendations is used (as far as I know) only in Bucks.

Examples of academic evidence can be found in the Q&As. The more evidence the better, but no one is likely to provide everything suggested.
