11 Plus Exams Forum

My son will be taking his 11 plus exam next year. i have now heard from a few people that they think it may be held in July next year. this seems very early (it was brought forward this year to Sept from Oct). I can't believe they're changing it again so soon. Also sitting the exam in July would mean that some children would still be 9. Has any one else heard this? I know I could phone up the grammar school, so may do that.

Crumbs that is really early - DD will be doing it next year (north yorks) she will only be 10 in July.

s still I suppose we could take off for a term or two to far flung parts (always fancied NZ) if we new she had a place that early

Think this is just a rumour. Someone did phone one of our local grammar schools and they hadn't heard of this.
