Top letter, T denotes, medium circle in top right position, so T.

Bottom letter denotes "dotted circle" H=medium, O=big, B=small so H.

Giving TH answer E.

Some questions, and I think this might be one are not so easy on a computer screen as when printed on paper at a higher resolution.

Hi Steve,

I still don't understand the answer.
Top letter, T denotes, medium circle in top right position, so T.
But the top right position one is "Medium dotted circle". so H or am I gone crazy.

Middle circle is big
Bottom left circle is small.

How do we find the code? we have three object and two codes. I am totally confused.

Please help me...

Thanks.

Each letter in the code denotes a specisal characteristic. look for two diagrams which have a code letter in common and try to see what characteristic they share e.g. dotted outline, diagonal shading etc.

Overview of the question.

Each box has three circles, small, medium and large.

The position of the circles change, the circles are drawn as solid lines or dashed lines.

Looking at the codes

The Top letters are Q T T

The lower letters are H O B

Looking at the Top letters first what do the two T’s have in common? Sequence of circles.

So is the answer T sequence or Q sequence. Looks like a T.

Looking at the lower letters H O B. What is different in each code? The dashed line.

So H = medium circle dashed line, O = big, B = small

So is the answer a H O or B. Medium dashed so H.

So T H ….

Best explained when sat side by side!
:)

You could argue medium solid circle in top right position...but after that you hit a dead end so have to go back to the start?
