Good Luck Warwickshire

Wishing you all the very best of luck, conditions & health for this weekend.

I'm so glad we've finished with the whole business and will be thinking of you on Saturday morning.

Please be re-assured that, in my experience and to my knowledge, the system now works pretty well (perhaps setting aside the East Warks 50/50 rule). Those children I know of who were expected to pass but had a bad day at last year's exam either passed well anyway or got through via HT review process or on appeal. Easier said that done I know but - try not to worry!

GOOD LUCK

Charlotte xx

Ooops - have just thought that this thread might have been poorly named.

I mean good luck to everyone sitting the Warwickshire exams - not just to those who hail from Warwickshire!

I'm sure this self-selecting sub-set of the population of Warwickshire know what you mean.

Thank you.

Thanks Charlotte67 and good luck to everyone's DCs.

Don't know about anyone else but I'm just glad it's nearly over. (apart from the B'ham test in Nov!!) The kids are fine but I need time to recover. A day in a spa at the end of Nov I think. :D

Can I echo Charlotte67's sentiments? Good luck to anyone who is sitting the imminent tests. I remember very well how this build up feels and wept buckets both times I left my children at the test centre - it's momentous.

Yes, i guess I want all the other kids to fail miserably in one way , but not in truth. :)

All we can hope is that our child performs to the best of their ability on the day. You cant ask for any more.
Id be really stressed if I found out she hadnt, because some other child had irritated her for example (I have a fear of that for some reason , that she wont fully concentrate).

Studley here we come ! No traffic issues please ! : :D

Thank you for those good wishes!
Wishing all others taking the test the best too - and their parents!
Then the wait - who's in rehab?

Just wish they gave us the results when they know them i.e. a few weeks ?!

Just another part of the 'we know something you dont' syndrome that the powers that be seem to enjoy in this matter....
