Which school?

Our DD is going to take exams next year, but we still can't decide which school will be her first choice. I have my preferences on Alcester as mixed school (that is the main reason), my husband prefers Shottery for better academic results, DD likes both, so...
Any advices, personal experiences, preferences or just personal opinions will be greatly appreciated!

Have you asked your DD which school she would like to go to?

Does Shottery get better results at GCSE? At A Level you would not be comparing like with like, as AGS has a very large 6th Form - bigger than the rest of the school put together. The additional 6th form intake is non-selective, other than requiring a reasonable GCSE standard.

My main concern (or feeling?) is that I got an impression that Shottery is more for humanities and AGS for sciences. Is that correct?
