Any Warwickshire parents currently trying to 'encourage' their offspring to do some 11+ practise this holiday? The Warwickshire area of this site seems quite quiet!!
Am I absolutely correct in thinking that although the test now takes place in test centres, the papers are still VR and an essay to be written at school? I just want to be absolutely certain that there is no NVR or maths paper... shame really, maths is my son's real strength along with NVR!!
Oh well...

I have set some work for my pupils to do over the summer holidays and they must keep up the reading. The format does appear to be what you said although as the papers are now being set ny NFER we are not sure what the exact format is going to be. Maths does appear in the VR tests and so there are opportunities for the more numerate child to shine!
