Maths/NVR in Warwickshire

So this year maths and nvr counted for 50% ... I guess that's bad news for dc who are better at maths/non vr than English/vr.

It's probably bad news for my ds2 (although who knows if he will have a chance anyway, he's only in year 3) but his English is not very good and he doesn't read.

I'm still shocked that only 344 in East Warwickshire sat the 11+. There must be many more girls here!

Yes I agree, it's a shame we didn't know about the new weighting for numeracy only 25%, NVR 25% and verbal reasoning counting for 50%. Didn't do my DS any favours!

Ginx, I thought 723 children in the Eastern Grammar circle took the 11+ (379 boys) - is that not correct?

The 344 was girls in the Eastern area. 344 girls + 379 boys = 723 total Eastern area.
