Thank you everyone for your help.
My daughter has always wanted to go to Shottery. She got a feeling from it when we looked around 2 years ago and has loved it since. That same year we left the Alcester open evening early as she was adamant it was not for her. This year we viewed Shotttery again and she still loved it and we didn't go to see Alcester again. However I regretted this as felt we weren't comparing them properly and I do have reservations about the single sex thing.
Today we went to see Alcester again with an open mind. I thought the teachers were excellent and v motivating. However I do think that my daughter will be more suited to Shottery and as she really wants to go there I think that must be the right decision for her. I can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that the decision has been made. They are both great schools and she is lucky to have the choice.
