Re: Waiting list 2015
KES waiting list update:
My son had a score of 227, one below AQS. He shared that position with (from memory) 6 or 8 others but was position 13 on the waiting list. I phoned LEA to establish his place following any re offers and he is now back at position 8. They said there will be more movement on the list but obviously they cannot predict how much.

Re: Waiting list 2015
DS got offered his first choice school (Camp Hill Boys, B'ham) the other day so we've now declined KES (which we love but is too far away - no easy way to get there from Solihull...) Difficult decision - but good to know that the chap at the top of the waiting list will now get a place

Hi Dobspoon. Interested to know where/how you got this information?dobspoon wrote:Three KES offers made today post-appeal but only two off the waiting list.
Thanks, CO.
Re: Waiting list 2015
As per my PM, I heard this from the admissions line, CO. I think the waiting list has been something of a non-mover this year as a result of the increased intake at Alcester and I really feel for those on or just below AQS who must have felt they were dead certs. We're definitely going to AGS and DS is really looking forward to it.
Re: Waiting list 2015
I am a aware of a Shottery place being offered this week. Won't affect the Alcester list I'm afraid, but thought you'd want to know there's still movement happening

Re: Waiting list 2015
The AGS list has moved significantly. I know someone who got in this week and started off in the early 20's on the waiting list. Good Luck to those still waiting.
Re: Waiting list 2015
Anyone know roughly what score they have reached on the waiting list for AGS?

They'd got to 208 a few weeks ago. DS is 12th on the list at 207 as of today.
He started at 35th.

Good luck to your DS. Nearly at the top of the list. Fingers crossed!
