New WCC arrangements for next year
Anyone noticed the changes for next year? Fixed dates for re-offers and no late children offered on 01 March. Warwickshire will also assume parents want their offer - so no need to accept.

Hi Mad Dad. Great name. I'm a dad too! And I am pretty mad. Not as in angry or dangerous, but "the other type of mad".
Anyway can you post a link to said change in arrangements please? Saves about billion people trawling over the WCC website trying to find the stuff, and saves wear and tear on the internet. And that helps save the planet too.
Thanks

Hi Fatnorfille,
This should work:
http://apps.warwickshire.gov.uk/api/doc ... CC-699-523" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And the Cabinet paper:

Looking in phone in area with poor signal but think it looks similar for secondary schools which starts about 20 pages in?

Changes are for both primary and secondary. Will be interesting to see what it does to waiting lists. Will it mean parents who would normally decline because they've gone private or are moving overseas sit on places. Could mean children not turning up at the start of term. Looks like there will be a slightly longer wait as well before any re-offers.

Re: New WCC arrangements for next year
Thanks for supplying the links. I have only scan read the documents as they are quite lengthy and they use a lot of big words. However the documents have confirmed that no offers will be made on March 1st from those applications deemed to be late. This is a lot less macabre than the notion of "no late children offered on 01 March". Might be appropriate for somewhere like Hogwarts. Less appropriate for somewhere like KES (King Edmund School) in Stratford Up (On Avon).MadDad1975 wrote:Anyone noticed the changes for next year?
