Dates for pre-season not confirmed yet - to do with when the start of term falls and still up for discussion as to whether it is run in the holidays.

However, the new Y7s are invited to join the Ultimate Kes K on 3rd July, starting from around 10 in the morning (build up and excitement before the races), at the sports field, to race on the flat and over tricky obstacles against their future classmates! Was very funny to watch last year - even the Head joined in! Applications are through ticket source on the school website and you will get more information in due course but worth saving the date!

Thanks kcg, that sounds rather interesting!

Went for the music trials on Sat and it was very useful - DS now knows what he wants as his second instrument! Looking forward now to next week when he sees Mr Carr.

DS had his meeting with Mr Carr yesterday and it went very well. We were inside for about 20 minutes and it was really nice to meet him.

For those who will be meeting Mr Carr first time, just like we were - he was very friendly and welcoming to us all especially DS who enjoyed his chat with him immensely. Most of the conversation was about the contents of the questionnaire that DS had sent in.

Looking forward now to the 14th June New Parents evening. See you guys!
