I think it is such a shame that a number of children will be travelling significant distances to Warwickshire Grammar Schools when they have excellent schools on their doorsteps - namely Arden and Tudor Grange in Solihull. These families are in a win win situation because even if their children do not pass either the Birmingham or Warwickshire 11+ exams (they are in the Warwickshire priority area.) they still get into one of the best schools in the country.
Those of us actually in Warwickshire appear to be at a disadvantage.
