I think you need to be really careful with some of these suggestions ... they might cause upset to parents.

If you mean parents on the forum Guest55, I apologise if I have offended anyone.
If you mean offence to parents within Snowdrop's school...I don't suggest that she really uses any of the last few ideas. I would imagine that we were all being rather flippant!

yep - whole thing as obviously not got to be taken too seriously.

DDs school last year had a certain number of academic / sport / music cups and awards - there were enough for about 1/2 of the (rather small) year. The decision had been made to expand the number of awards so that everyone got one - problem was that the awards were rather contrived and everyone (especially the parents) could see straight through it - eg "for being helpful with the younger ones" "work towards eco friendly environment" etc etc. problem was with the mixture of the "proper" awards and the made up ones, just so everyone got one.
What snowdrops is doing sounds like a different thing all together when it should be recognised as "just for fun"

The last few remarks (which I joined in with myself) were clearly said in fun and no-one in their right mind would ever use the suggestions - would we

I am deeply touched, but will obviously have to think up a new name for my mad evil twin when I feel like a rant......
