Strange request I know, but it's DD2's 8th birthday in 3 weeks and she says she wants "sea lion things". It's all because she saw a sealion show at Chester Zoo and decided she wants to be a sealion trainer when she grows up.
So, I'm on the hunt for sealion books, jigsaws, stationary etc. She already has lots of cuddly toy sea lions  Short of going back to a zoo or sealife centre has anyone any idea where I can get hold of sea lion themed stuff? :?

Thanks

The problem with google is the hundreds of soft toys. One more soft toy and her bed may just collapse under the weight of them!

How about "adopt a sea lion" : google gives lots of links such as this one

http://www.zsl.org/shop/whipsnade-adopt ... n-sealion/

You could choose one at a centre you are likely to be able to visit such as the National Seal Centre in Gweek, Cornwall

http://www.sealsanctuary.co.uk/adopt3.html

I suspect this one might be a little more tricky to visit!

I do like the adoption idea. Blackpool zoo or the Welsh mountain zoo are the 2 we can go to fairly regularly. I'll go looking...
