music question - changing instrument

I'll second this - we are going through this trauma at the moment. Especially frustrating when you've been working towards Grade 7 and then suddenly can't get a note out of it. DS has had to give up trumpet because of this.
from a UK supplier (just Google the product name for a UK supplier), it has good reviews. There is also something else called a BraceGuard which is fiddly but works for some people. Just hoping that what we've ordered works and DD can get back to her playing (tenor horn and trumpet).
