Easter

Just before Christmas ds1 mentioned that stores probably closed on Christmas day so that staff could take down the deccies and put up the easter displays.....I now think he may be right! we went to the village T**** express today to find they had easter eggs for sale and the Christmas holidays aren't even over yet!
Has anyone else spotted any in shops yet?

Yes, in our local T***** they had Creme Eggs and other small eggs out on Christmas Eve! How ridiculous. B'ah Humbug!

This has happened for a good few years where I live. I always look very sniffily at them to show my annoyance (!) I hate that there is always something 'seasonal' being rammed down my throat - and that they know how predictable I am as a customer.

I like to keep them guessing whether I'll buy Easter eggs/Christmas stuff/BBQ things/summer holiday items/uniform marketed as 'back to school' just as the holidays start/fireworks/Hallowe'en goods...etc etc

There was a full Easter Egg display and Hot Cross Buns in our local T.... on 29th December.
