So here we go again! Just wondering if anyone else is biting what few nails they have left after the secondary allocations' day in preparation for Monday? Poor planning, or what?

Good luck if you are.

Will be so glad when it's all over and by the time my DD gets to 11 plus stage (if it's still around then) I might, just might have forgotten the trauma :)

I'm waiting to hear what infant school my DC3 is going to get, but have got to wait until Monday 22nd March, yet another week away!

Have applied to our nearest school only 200 yards away, but out of 217 applications for 120 places last year (4 form entry x30) , 85 places went to siblings, leaving the other 35 places on distance. I live on a big estate and so some people living here were disappointed not getting a place, where as other children living a lot further away got places as there was a sibling. Grrr.

Next nearest school had 154 applications for 30 places, and third school had 121 applications for 30 places.

Hopefully he will get a place somewhere. Already dreading september when I will have 3 children at 3 different schools, so will have to practise being in 3 places at once!

Hope you get good news next week.
