Enjoy the new camera, I love my Pentax Optio so much I love to stroke its brushed steel body every now and again! Digital is brill, I couldn't go back to film.

Happy Birthday MM & Chad. :D

I've been away and missed the big allocation day (it's taken me about a week to catch up) - sorry to hear little MM is still waiting for a place. :(

Keeping fingers crossed for you. :D

Hope the coffee didn't stain the carpet!

Those huge French Fancy cakes look so scrummy, glad you enjoyed it. Hope post-birthday-depression hasn't set it yet and that you are still on a birthday high.

Hope you enjoyed the skiing lesson. Years ago my Mum went skiing on a dry ski slope, fell over and broke her thumbs. A month later she went skiing to Andorra, fell over whilst doing cross-country skiing and broke her nose. She got the hint and never skiied again!

Hope your lesson didn't involve a trip to A&E!

Taken any photos yet?

(P.S. Hope you had a Happy Birthday too Chad! )
