Ok, next stop Hollywood - Angelina Jolie, Penelope Cruz for wife and mistress storyline. Any thoughts on the miners? Need to be dark haired and handsome (of course) - a starring role for Antonio Banderas no doubt.... :)

I already have a cast in mind for the movie !

1. Johnny Depp
2. George Clooney
3. Navin Andrews
4. Matt Daemon
5. Antonio Banderas
6. Russell Crowe
7. Colin Farrell
...
33. Brad Pitt

then.. Diego Maradona (who will be a "medic" sent down to check everything at the end... and left there  ).

and of course... Anthony Hopkins as the President :D

Could you imagine being stuck down a mine with Banderas. His voice grates on my nerves but 24/7....shudder!

Yes London is full of some lovely hues, although in fairness, Kingsley was Indian!

DS1 off today unwell so perfect excuse to sit and watch - me not him!
Hard rock, granite mining, so more likely Cornish, :)

DS1 had to do some family research a couple of years ago, we searched and found one of his great-granddad’s birth certificates, mother died in child birth, father a Cornish tin miner.

It does make you think, today we go to work and worry about what's on telly tonight, miners still have to worry about getting home safe every night.

Hopefully by morning they will all be out and safe. :)

I love the idea of Anthony Hopkins as president - great casting! Not sure about Brad, although they can perform miracles in films these days.

There would be a romance, drama, probably jealousy and murder - it's perfect!

To be serious :? I get quite claustrophobic watching those tubes coming out of the ground - must be awful. I too expected grubby, tired looking men to emerge - they all look the same and look extremely clean and well shaven. Surprised there are no advertising logos on those suits!
